Shakespeare in the Grove Auditions Twelfth Night or What you Will

TCC and the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission present the 24th annual Shakespeare in the Grove audition announcement of Twelfth Night or What you Will.

Audition Dates: Thursday, May 6 from 7-9 PM via Zoom or you can submit a video audition prior.
Callbacks – Monday, May 10 from 7-9 at the Chesapeake Blackbox Theatre, located at 1428 Cedar Road.

Prepare a one-minute Shakespearian monologue or one of the attached monologue. Also, if you sing, prepare no more than 16 bars, acapella.
All roles open to all genders and ethnicity.

Rehearsals start May 17 and run Monday – Thursday from 7-10 PM.
Show runs June 23-27 at 8 PM, weather permitting, and will take place at the Grove Stage, on the TCC Chesapeake Campus.

TCC Theatre will be following strict COVID protocol. These rules and regulation can change based upon federal, state and local updates.

These include, but not limited to:

• Cast and crew will be required to wear a mask during the rehearsal process but mask will be removed for production.
• Cast and crew members will be briefed on cross contamination and sanitization regarding props, costumes and other elements.
• Hand sanitizing stations are located inside the theatre, backstage, dressing room and around the Grove Stage area.
• Cast and crew will watch TCC COVID 19 Safety video
• Cast and crew will be required to sign in upon entering the building
• Props, dressing rooms, bathrooms and common areas will be cleaned nightly
• A full list of rules and procedures will be presented on the first day of rehearsals
