When: Friday April 16th, 07:00 pm - 11:00 pm Description: Tidewater Community College presents Quarantine Radio Theatre and our presentation of A Princess of Mars. A Princess of Mars tells the tale of John Carter, a civil war veteran mysteriously transported to the planet Mars. On this dying, warlike planet he meets a bevy of bizarre creatures, falls in love with a beautiful princess, fights in epic battles, and sacrifices all to save the planet from final annihilation. This swashbuckling adventure, written by Edgar Rice Burroughs in 1912, served as the basis for most of the pop culture we experience today. John Carter is the original superhero that inspired Superman, Star Wars, Flash Gordon, and Avatar to name a few. The production will be on Friday, April 16 at 7 and 9 PM and will be stream via TCC Theater Livestreams page. The show is free and open to the public and runs for approximately 90 minutes This event is open to the public. |
