Student Handbook 2006 - 2008

MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT

Dear TCC Students:

This Student Handbook provides you with important information about the many services and resources available to you as a member of the TCC community.
It also serves as a reference for important policies and procedures that will affect you during your time at the college.

I urge you to become familiar with the information contained in the Student Handbook: college calendar, definitions of key academic terms, method of computing your grade point average (GPA), opportunities available to you through Student Activities, types of financial aid, and much more.

Our hope is that you will have a rewarding collegiate experience at TCC through your interaction with faculty, use of the many student services available to you, and participation in a variety of extracurricular activities.

Best wishes for successfully completing your educational goals at Tidewater Community College.

Sincerely,

Michael D. Summers
Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs
